Happening alongside Jimmy Johnson's Billfish Championship, March 3-7, 2026, the JJSPORTFISH tournament will feature 2 days of competition sportfishing with access to all the JJFISHWEEK events and hospitality – a tournament for the Meat Fish Enthusiasts.
Join for all the parties before and after at Hard Rock along with the marina events. Fish for Wahoo, Kingfish, Tuna, Dolphin, or Cobia and weigh in at any of the 4 official tournament marinas of the JJFISHWEEK Quest for the Ring Tournament, to include Ocean Reef (Members Only), Miami Beach, Bahia Mar, and Sailfish Marina. Tournament is dock of choice; teams can fish at their leisure with no morning check in required.
Boat entry starts at $2,500 with $500 calcuttas for each species. The purse will be based on boat entry.
If you participate in JJ's Quest for the Ring Tournament, you CAN NOW participate in the JJSPORTFISH tournament as well!
The overall general entry is the Big Fish Bonanza which will be determined by the total weight of up to three heaviest fish on any boat and paid out to two places. Less than three fish can win this category. Only two fish per species per day can be weighed. Only two fish of any species can be included in the overall three fish aggregate. General Entry will be paid out by your top 3 fish combined total weight and will be paid for the Top 2 boats. Should any of the top places not be paid out in the general entry, the money will be evenly reallocated to the places that are being paid out.
